About This Teaching
What You're Learning
The Clarity Method is built on two classical frameworks:
SAMKHYA PHILOSOPHY (Module 1)
The three gunas: Sattva (clarity), Rajas (energy), Tamas (inertia). How to see your current state.
ASHTANGA YOGA (Modules 2–9)
The eight limbs from Patanjali's Yoga Sutras:
Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, Samadhi.
How to evolve.
These come from 2,500-year-old texts. They belong to everyone. What is new is the application: how these principles address the specific problems of modern life — distraction, comparison, anxiety, uncommitted relationships, and judgment.
Rakshath Jain teaches yoga in Toronto and online. He wrote a book called Clarity as a Standard, which explores this framework in depth across work, relationships, health, and inner states. This program is the teaching in video form, with focus on yoga specifically.
What This Is Not
Let's be clear about what this isn't:
This is not medical treatment. It is not a substitute for therapy or medication. If you are in crisis, call a crisis line or emergency services.
This program has not been clinically trialled. The components (slow breathing, meditation) have research support. The specific sequence does not.
This is not a guarantee of enlightenment. Most people never reach Samadhi. That's normal.
This is not a substitute for a living teacher. A true guru-student relationship cannot happen through video.
This is not a community or cult. There is no ongoing relationship. You buy the course, you practice, you move forward. No allegiance required.
Real yoga is not about flexibility. It's about aligning with what gives you power and releasing what drains you. This framework, practiced deeply, shows you how.
